“Developing People. Driving Results.“
Who I Am
I’m Lucas McAlpin, a communication & leadership development professional, author, facilitator, coach, and speaker with more than 25 years of experience transforming people and organizations. I’ve worked across industries ranging from office equipment to pharmaceutical to home services, and my work has helped many companies grow from $1M to $30M in less than five years.
I don’t just train people. I build the systems, design the curriculum, and lead the teams that make lasting change happen at every level of an organization.
What I Do
I work with frontline employees and senior leaders alike. Whether it’s sharpening communication and sales skills on the front lines or developing the coaching mindset in your management team, I meet people where they are and move them forward.
Currently I lead a team of 10 master trainers, overseeing training delivery across live, virtual, and private training formats. I’ve built training programs from the ground up; from needs analysis to curriculum design to implementation and measurement.
What 25 Years Looks Like In Practice
Over the course of my career I’ve trained and coached more than 5,000 people across groups ranging from two to three hundred, from individual frontline contributors to executive teams. I’ve designed and delivered more than 20 different courses, facilitated over 150 live training sessions, and built learning programs from the ground up across multiple industries. The work has helped companies scale from $1M to $30M+ in under five years. And somewhere along the way I found time to write a book.
Outside of Work
I’m a husband, and a father of five. I live in Omaha, Nebraska where you’ll find me cooking, binging on television shows with my wife, or cheering at my daughter’s basketball games. I’m also a grandfather to three, which is still surreal to me as I say it out loud.
The Book
My leadership fable I Don’t Know, What Do You Think? explores what happens when leaders stop having all the answers and start trusting their teams. It’s a quick read with a lasting impact, already in the hands of leaders across the country.
